"Comaders" and poop
What a title, I know. But the stories MUST be told. :)
Comaders-
Last weekend, I was at a hotel with the kids and Lee came over to stay the night when he got off work. All day Jakob had been looking out the window saying 'comaders'. For the life of me, I could NOT figure out what the heck a comader was! Was it in the bushes outside of the hotel window? No. So wherever we went for the last week, we've been asking, "Do you see a comader?" I was resigned to think that I was going to go through the rest of my life not knowing what a comader was. After all, he would eventually say the word correctly and we wouldn't hear it anymore nor would HE understand anymore what it was if we asked him. So fast forward to today. I was in the bathroom with Jakob and for some reason, I can't even remember, he said the word or it clicked in my head. HAMBURGER!! It makes complete sense now since from our hotel window, we could see the Taco Bell drive thru. Well, Jakob only knows a drive thru as hamburgers and french fries. I don't know WHY he didn't say 'fries' since he LOVES them, it would have really been easier for us to understand!
Poop- Not just any poop, but BRIGHT GREEN Poop. Well, last night at my parents house, my mother witnessed one of these brightly colored episodes. She freaked out and I just blew it off. I had seen these before for a couple days and then it goes away. Then she called tonight to see if he had any more. I just said I hadn't really thought about it anymore. So I decided to do a search on the net (you can seriously find information about ANYTHING these days). Well, I discovered that it is more than likely the juice that he is drinking. We buy the Sugar-Free Kool Aid in many different flavors. We have a 2 gallon dispenser in the refrigerator that the boys go through about every other day to every 3 days. Well this last batch is grape which I found out, after I did some research that it contains Blue dye 1 in it. Blue dye #1 is not absorbed very well by the intestine so often will come out colorful. I'll have to watch for the color change when this juice is gone.
And there ends my fun and colorful stories of Jakob today. :)

Busy Busy
The last couple weeks have been busy busy. Cameron started 6th grade in a new school. He came home from the first day and said, "This was my best 'first day' ever!" He's been doing very well so far. Lee and I are super proud of him.
Busy is an everyday word with a 2 year old in the house. Jakob is at such a fun age though. Daddy made a comment yesterday to Jakob that his 'English is getting so good." That made me laugh. But he just says SO much now...there are a few words occasionally that boggle us though. We may never find out what a 'comadur' is.
Kailey is 4 1/2 months and almost always has a smile for me...not necessarily for daddy, but she's getting there. She's been rolling over both ways now for the last couple days. She sits up really well in her new exersaucer that great grandma found for a steal. Everything in reach goes in the mouth and she tries reaching for everything. :) She's also been getting up to eat only once at night which makes it easier for me to deal with the busy-ness of all three of them every day.
One more mentionable fact about the sleeping at night...Cameron was already sleeping through the night at 4 months...Jakob still doesn't...and Kailey is close. It's amazing how different they are...it's a good thing though...I love them just the way they are.

Happy Labor Day!
So in efforts to try to keep up with things here, I am actually blogging TWO days in a row!
We went out to my parents house today to have a family get together...actually, it was at Grandma and Grandpa's house (they live downstairs from my parents). I didn't get any pictures unfortunately...but I love spending time with my family. Most of my aunts were there, dad is the only boy of 6 children. Most of my cousins were there, as well as 2nd cousins...which means 3rd cousins for my kids. All three of my kids have 3rd cousins that are close to them in age.
My children and my family are the most important things in the world to me! I'm so glad that my family is so close-knit.

Bad Blogger
I am terrible at this blogging. I don't know how my friends find the time! :) As it is, I am blogging with baby in hand now. Someday I'll get it together.
I don't think life will be slowing down soon. I am constantly getting myself into new projects. They are all great so I need to make the time to blog about them so you can read all about it. A couple projects I am working on right now are: a vendor fair, my regular monthly crop, a charity crop, a couple of card swaps and a couple of layout swaps. I've also decided to start a Scrapbooking for Others, or Scrapbook Designer for Hire business along side of my I Remember When business.
I'll try to update again soon and maybe even post a picture or two. I don't even have my kiddos up here! :) But right now, I'm off to create and research!

New adventures
So, I knew I probably would have a hard time keeping up with my blog. :) Between freakin with my friends at Scrapfreak, family time, work time... Yes, I said work time. The last time you tuned in here I was preparing for life as a SAHM. We all were, here at home. But my manager had called me the day after I gave them notice, and offered me a part-time position! I decided that for my sanity and our financials, I would try it. So this past week was my first week back. I'm working Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I think it went well, but now to get that morning routine down. We kinda got used to sleeping in...and now I have 3 kids to get ready before I leave the house. Cameron is a huge help with Jakob, but soon he'll be back in school.
I also decided to take on another adventure. I signed my agreement to be an I Remember When instructor. (I have also been a Mary Kay Consultant going on 3 years now.) IRW is a direct sales scrap booking company. I'm excited about those opportunities! You can see the catalog at www.irememberwhen.com. I've been busy checking out all the info I can and reading their forums. I can't wait to get my starter kit!
I'm hoping to get some scrapping done soon. Then I'll have to figure out how to post my project photos on here. Last night I *did* finish a project I started over a week ago. I altered some letters to put in a frame for my new godson Brady. I'll have to look at it again today to see if I still like it. I tend to *love* all my work I do after midnight until I look at it when I wake up.
Well, that's it for now. I'm off today. It's Friday! Jakob didn't let me sleep in today, so I guess I might as well start my day.

Now I've done it.
I started a BLOG...so what the heck do I blog about. MY life is not that interesting. Well, I'm anxious to see what happens because today I told my boss I would not be coming back to work after my maternity leave. I'm excited for my new adventure of stay-at-home-momhood, yet I am so scared I could pass out. What if we can't swing it financially? What if I change my mind? What if I go over the edge from insanity? When Lee told me that he *wanted* me to stay home, I had very mixed emotions. What would he expect from me? I am, to put it extremely nicely, very laid back. I'm not the stay-at-home type of girl. I don't want to 'lose who I am.' I don't want to 'let myself go' as the stereotypical SAHM oftens winds up doing.
So join me on my new found journey of SAHM-hood and let's see where it takes me. I am hoping that it will not take me over the edge of insanity and I will motivate myself to the edge of fame and fortune.
